Directed by Jessica Rose McVay (second assistant director for Broadway's The Best Man), the cast includes Conor Fallon as Joe, Broghanne Jessamine as Mag, Debrah Linehan as Woman/Hanna, Kitty Mortland as Cissy, Annette Fox as Mrs. Wilson and Matthew Tyler as Man/Andy.
Lovers is a 1967 play written by Northern Irish playwright Friel and is broken into two parts: Winners and Losers.
Director McVay added, "Through two different couples, one young, one old, and both on the brink of marriage, Lovers explores the beauty and possibilities of a new relationship, and the devastation, and loss at the end of that relationship. It requires me to ask the audience — how do you define a successful relationship? Who is a winner, and who is a loser?"
Eric Carlson will serve as the production stage manager.
Performances will be offered Oct. 13-19 at 7:30 PM and Oct. 19 at 3 PM. The West Park Presbyterian Church is located at 86th and Amsterdam. For more information and tickets, click here.
