News   Bridge & Tunnel's Jones to Be Featured on July 16 "Breakfast with the Arts"

The July 16 broadcast of "Breakfast with the Arts," the Sunday-morning entertainment program on the A&E Network, will feature an interview with Tony Award winner Sarah Jones.

Jones will chat about her award-winning one-woman show Bridge & Tunnel, which plays its final performance at the Helen Hayes Theatre Aug. 6. The two-hour program will also feature segments about singer Corinne Bailey Rae, songwriter John Hiatt, director Norman Jewison, the Juilliard School, the piano-playing Five Browns and college professor and poet Kewulay Kamara.

After an acclaimed run at Off-Broadway's 45 Bleecker Street Theatre, Sarah Jones' Bridge & Tunnel reopened at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre. Jones tackles over a dozen characters in the solo show, which explores issues of assimilation in modern urban America, putting the New York melting pot to the test. Jones was awarded a 2006 Special Tony Award for her performance.

"Breakfast with the Arts" airs from 8-10 AM ET on A&E. Karina Huber hosts. Check local listings or visit www.aetv.com for more information.
