News Bridges, "In Memoriam" and the Creative Arts Awards: The Tony Awards Moments You Didn't See The 2014 Tony Awards, held June 8 at Radio City Music Hall, began airing on CBS at 8 PM. While the broadcast was filled with numerous performances, of both currently-running shows and shows that will open next season, some acceptance speeches and productions were not featured on the televised ceremony.

Prior to the broadcast, the Creative Arts Awards, hosted by Billy Porter and Karen Ziemba, were presented. The winners were mentioned during the Tony broadcast, but their complete speeches were not aired, and neither was the moving "In Memoriam" video footage.
