The New York Shakespeare Exchange has announced complete casting for the return of the ShakesBeer Pub Crawl, which will enact classic scenes from the Shakespeare canon in various Manhattan pubs next month.
The ShakesBeer pub crawl will kick off September 10 at 3 PM at The Gaf on West 48th Street and make its way to The Waylon and Perdition before winding down at the Lansdowne at 6 PM. The crawl will follow the same schedule September 17.
Joining Hannah Elless, recently on Broadway in the new musical Bright Star, will be Julie DeLaurier, Eleanor Handley, Devin E. Haqq, Kim Krane, Cory O’Brien-Pniewski, Ed Stanley and Carey Van Driest. The directors are Kim Krane, Kelli Ruttle, Christopher Randolph and Nathaniel P. Claridad.
In celebration of the 2016 Origin’s 1st Irish Theatre Festival, the September edition of ShakesBeer will also feature a special bonus scene from Martin McDonagh’s dark comedy The Cripple of Inishmaan.
Tickets, which are $48 (includes four drinks, beer/wine/select cocktails), are available by visiting shakespeareexchange.org.
