Steven Brinberg returns to the New York nightclub Don't Tell Mama to present his impersonation of Barbra Streisand in The Wedding Tour throughout April and May.
Brinberg won a 1997 Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs award for Outstanding Impersonation/Characterization for his work as Streisand and is nominated for the same award again this year. He has been performing Simply Barbra since fall 1993 and plans to release a debut CD of Simply Barbra duets later this year.
Brinberg performed a preview March 28. The show officially opens Wednesday April 1 at 7 PM when Brinberg will be joined by Rohn Seykell.
Shows run April 8 at 7 PM, then every Saturday at 11 PM from April 11 through May 30. There is a $15 cover charge and two drink minimum.
