Next up at the Zachary Scott Theatre Center in Austin, Texas: three Flaming Idiots. No, I'm not being cruel, that's the name of an acrobatic comedy trio. "The Flaming Idiots," a fifteen-year-old troupe who mix juggling and prop comedy with verbal joshing, arrive at the Zach Dec. 8-Jan. 16, 2000, officially opening Dec. 11.
Rob Williams, Jon O'Connor and Kevin Hunt -- call them, "Gyro, Pyro and Walter" -- juggle swords, fire, bean bag chairs, three-foot balloons and bullwhips. A Zach press release compares them to circus maestros Siegfried & Roy -- "without the costumes, cats, magic or hair."
