Classic Arts News British Composer Charles Dakin Dies at 76 Charles Dakin, a 76-year-old composer, died on July 13 in a car accident in his native Shropshire, England, reports the BBC.
He composed more than 60 works, including symphonies, chamber music and songs, and seems (to judge from the list of his pieces at the British Music Information Centre's web site) to have had a particular fondness for the saxophone.
