News British GK-tv to Update Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour for Television Lillian Hellman's play The Children's Hour, which is scheduled for a West End revival in winter 2011, is also set to hit British small screens, according to deadline.com.

Gk-tv, the television division of GK Films in England, and Samuel Goldwyn Films are planning to co-produce an updated version of the play, which focuses on two schoolteachers accused by one of their students of a lesbian love affair and the tragic fallout that results. The updated version will focus on social media's role in changing people's lives, often for the worse.

Elisabeth Moss and Keira Knightley are set to star in the West End revival of the play. A subsequent Broadway run is being planned. No casting has been announced for the television version.

The Children's Hour premiered on Broadway in 1934.  It was revived in 1952 and filmed in 1936 and 1961.
