Andrew Samonsky and Kate Reinders have decided to tie the knot. Playbill confirms that the couple are now engaged.

Reinders posted the news on her personal Facebook page on March 28 and Samonsky posted a photo to his instagram saying, “This reindeer is gonna be a Samonsky!”

Samonsky is currently on tour in the lead role of Robert on the First National Tour of The Bridges of Madison County while Reinders plays the St. James Theatre each night as Portia in Something Rotten!

Most recently, Samonsky originated the role of Captain Phoebus in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at New Jersey’s Paper Mill Playhouse (and his voice can be heard on the cast album). Samonsky previously appeared on Broadway in Scandalous: The Life and Trials of Aimee Semple McPherson, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and South Pacific. He received a Drama Desk Nomination in 2012 for his work in Queen of the Mist. Before taking on the Shakespearan love story, Reinders appeared on Broadway in several productions, including Good Vibrations, Wicked (as Glinda) and Gypsy (as June).
