News Broadway Belts Benefit, with Linda Lavin, Max Von Essen, Debbie Gravitte, John McDaniel, Offered Feb. 25 Julie Halston hosts the third annual Broadway Belts for PFF!, which benefits the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, Feb. 25 at 7 PM at Birdland Jazz Club.

Directed by Carl Andress, the evening boasts the talents of Tony winners Linda Lavin and Debbie Gravitte as well as Emily Bergl, Max von Essen, Emma Hunton, Klea Blackhurst, Ed Watts, music director John McDaniel and Robert Creighton.

The evening features musical direction by Jesse Kissel, musical arrangements by Ed Windels and a script by Halston and D. Michael Dvorchak. Trisha Hansen is stage manager, and Sue Frost is co-producer.

All proceeds benefit The Michael Kuchwara Fund for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Research, Education, and Advocacy.

Halston is a spokeswoman and activist for Pulmonary Fibrosis, along with her husband, Sirius XM news anchor for The Howard Stern Show, Ralph Howard, who was diagnosed with the disease in 2008.
