News Broadway Folk Sing The Songs of Ahrens and Flaherty at April 30 Benefit We Tell the Story: The Songs of Ahrens and Flaherty is the title of the April 30 benefit concert for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The 8 PM event will be held at the Lucille Lortel Theatre and will feature the talents of Tony Award winner Roger Rees, The Color Purple's Kenita R. Miller, Les Misérables' Q. Smith and Curtains' Joe Aaron Reid as well as Kara Boyer, Kimberly Burns, Peter Carrier, Creighton Fraker, Katie Kozlowski, Jamal McDonald, Lucy Sorensen and Bruce Warren. Phil Accorso directs and Amanda Spriggs choreographs the benefit, which features songs by the composers of Once On This Island, Ragtime, Seussical and Dessa Rose. Amanda Morton is the musical director; Larry Lees penned new orchestrations and will conduct the musicians.

The Lucille Lortel Theatre is located in Manhattan at 121 Christopher Street, between Hudson and Bleecker Streets. Tickets, priced $35-$100, are available by calling (212) 279-4200 or by visiting www.ticketcentral.com.
