Broadway For Broke People, a one-night cabaret performance to benefit Theatrical Gems, will be presented April 2 at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

The 9:30 PM concert features songs "stripped of their spectacle." Performers include Michal Salonia, Kenney M. Green, Tara Novie, Erin O’Neil and singer-songwriter Andy Mac with Benjamin Chambers, Caitlin Ferchaw, Seth Price, Ashley Primavera and Megan Taylor.

Steven H. Taylor is the musical director. Audiences can expect to hear tunes from The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Tarzan, Starlight Express, Taboo, Lestat, Titanic, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark and more.

Tickets are $15 plus a two-drink minimum and can be reserved online at www.theduplex.com or by calling (212) 255-5438. Tickets will be purchased at the door.

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher Street.
