News Broadway Goes Backwards June 5 for LGBT Community Center Broadway Backwards: Songs of Survival and Love is the title of the June 5 concert that will benefit the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center.

The evening will feature a host of Broadway show tunes performed with a gender-reversed twist. Those scheduled to lend their talent to the one-night-only event include Michelle Blakely, Steven Brinberg, Andrea Burns, Charles Busch, Paul Castree, Matt Cavenaugh, Harvey Evans, Suzanne Fiore, Cheyenne Jackson, Karen Mason, Andrea McArdle, Michael McElroy, Pamela Myers, Christine Pedi, Kurt Peterson, Alice Playten, Ric Ryder, Rachel Ulanet and Julie Wilson. Concertgoers can expect to hear Jackson and Cavenaugh duet on "We Kiss in a Shadow" and Myers' rendition of "Someone Is Waiting" from Company, the Stephen Sondheim musical the earned her a Tony nomination.

Broadway Chatterbox's Seth Rudetsky is set to host the concert, which will feature direction by Robert Bartley and musical direction by Michael Lavine. Show time is 7 PM.
