The Broadway Green Alliance will host a May 23 textile drive from 11 AM to 2 PM in Duffy Square, inviting industry members and fans to empty their closets and donate all used and clean clothing, including shoes, sneakers, and hats, as well as household items such as linens, towels, handbags, and belts.
The items will be collected by Wearable Collections, which repurposes and reuses the donated items.
Industry members unable to attend the event may drop off items at the re-fashion NYC bin in the lounge of the Actors’ Equity Association at 165 West 46th Street.
