Dirty Dancing, Aug. 18-30, 2015, Cadillac Palace Theatre A stage adaptation of the film about a teen who becomes infatuated with the dance instructor at an upstate New York resort. The score includes “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.” Casting to be announced.
A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Sept. 29-Oct. 11, 2015, Bank of America Theatre This musical comedy tells the story of a young man whose mother was disinherited by her family, and who decides to eliminate all who stand in the way of his winning the inheritance for himself. This engagement will be the first stop on the national tour for the 2014 Tony-winning Best Musical. Casting to be announced.
Gotta Dance, Dec. 13, 2015 – Jan. 17, 2016, Bank of America Theatre Billed as a “pre-Broadway world premiere,” this new musical tells the true story of how a group of young dance coaches organized professional basketball’s first-ever senior citizen dance team. The show has a libretto by Tony Award winner Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Tony nominee Chad Beguelin (Aladdin), music by Matthew Sklar (The Wedding Singer), and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde) and the late Marvin Hamlisch (Chorus Line). The production will be directed and choreographed by yet another Tony winner, Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots). Casting to be announced. Cabaret, Feb. 9 - 21, 2016, Bank of America Theatre The touring version of the hit 2014 Roundabout Theatre Company revival directed by Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall. Casting to be announced.
If/Then, Feb. 23 – March 6, 2016, Cadillac Palace Theatre The latest musical from the team who wrote the Pulitzer-winning Next to Normal. The 2013 show follows the twin stories of a young woman whose life goes in two different directions, depending on a chance meeting in a park. Casting to be announced.
Matilda the Musical, March 22 – April 10, 2016, Oriental Theatre The 2013 musical comedy based on Roald Dahl’s classic novelette about a bright little girl who uses her brain and a special secret power to do battle with the bullying headmistress of her school.
