News Broadway In Transit to Open Box Office with $31 Ticket Offer You can get a ticket to the subway musical for the price of the 7-day NY MetroCard.

The new Broadway musical In Transit, which is set in the New York subway system, will open its box office at the Circle in the Square Theatre October 8 with a special ticket offer. Tickets to selected preview performances will be sold for $31, the cost of a seven-day unlimited MetroCard subway pass.

The show’s logo depicts a stylized MetroCard. Regularly priced tickets range $89 - $159 and can be ordered at InTransitBroadway.com and Telecharge.com.

The specially priced tickets will be available 10 AM-2 PM at the box office, 235 West 50th Street, New York. They are limited to two tickets per purchase for select preview performances only. Tickets are subject to availability.

In Transit begins previews November 10 and officially opens December 11. The all-a cappella musical has book, music and lyrics by Academy Award winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Frozen), James-Allen Ford, Russ Kaplan and Sara Wordsworth. In Transit is directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes, Nice Work If You Can Get It).
