Recorded live at Town Hall June 13, 2005, the recording features songs from musicals that opened on Broadway in 1962. Bringing these tunes to life are such theatre favorites as Danny Gurwin, Christine Pedi, Felicia Finley, Scott Coulter, Brad Oscar, Liz Callaway, Will Taylor and Eric Stretch.
The performers are accompanied by Ross Patterson and His Little Big Band. The 23-track recording also features live narration by critic-producer-host Siegel.
Bryan Batt directed the Town Hall concert, which featured musical direction by Ross Patterson. "The Broadway Musicals of 1962" was produced for CD by Peter Pinne; Bruce Yeko is the executive producer.
