The Kaufman Center's Broadway Playhouse series — presented in the Merkin Concert Hall — will spotlight the work of composers Charles Strouse, Irving Berlin and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Sean Hartley will host the three concerts, which focus on a songwriter or songwriting team. The family-friendly series, geared for elementary school children, includes sing-alongs, interactive games and audience participation as well as a mini-musical. The series will kick off Jan. 7, 2007, at 11 AM with Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I. Subsequent offerings include Charles Strouse's Annie (Feb. 4 at 11 AM) and Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun (March 11 at 11 AM).

Single tickets are priced $20 with a three-concert subscription costing $45. A family rate, which includes four tickets to a single concert, is set at $60.

Merkin Concert Hall is located in Manhattan at 129 West 67th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. Tickets are available by calling (212) 501-3330 or by visiting www.kaufman-center.org.
