News Broadway Producers and Wardrobe Union Sign New Pact The League of American Theatres and Producers and the Theatrical Wardrobe Union Local 764 have signed a new agreement, replacing the old one, which expired on Labor Day, reported Variety.

League benefits including the lifting of certain restrictions on the use of costumes in television commercials and advertising shows. The union won better sick and bereavement leave conditions. The League is gearing up to meet Actors' Equity this coming spring about a new Production Contract, the agreement which governs actors' employment in Broadway and touring productions.
