Industry News Broadway Publicist Emily McGill Strikes Out on Her Own With Press Play PR Firm The publicist, who has worked on such shows as Aladdin, Billy Elliot, and Memphis, has launched a boutique PR firm with a diverse client roster.

Emily McGill, a Broadway publicist who has represented a variety of Broadway shows including The Lion King, Aladdin, Cats, Rock of Ages, and Memphis, has announced the launch of her own PR firm, Press Play.

Press Play opens its doors with a client roster including Tony-winning director Kenny Leon, Broadway fitness instructor Mark Fisher, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter LOLO, Daniel J. Watts’ The Jam, the Samuel French Awards, and concert artist Maxine Linehan.

“Looking back on all I’ve learned during the last decade working with some of the top talents in the entertainment industry, it is a dream come true to bring Press Play to the world,” McGill said in a statement. “My unique history of theatrical, personal, corporate, performance, and event publicity affords me the opportunity to fine-tune strategies for clients across all facets of entertainment. I’m greatly looking forward to continuing the multidimensional work that my experience has offered.”
