Broadway News Broadway Revival of West Side Story Launches Nationwide Search for Contemporary Dancers Director Ivo van Hove and choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's production arrives on Broadway in December 2019.

The forthcoming Broadway revival of West Side Story, which arrives on Broadway December 10, 2019, is launching a nationwide search for contemporary dancers of all ethnicities.

The open call will take place December 8, with sign-in beginning at 8:30 AM for men and 12:30 PM for women. For more details on the sign-up, preparation, and location, email [email protected].

Directed by Tony winner Ivo van Hove with choreography by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, the reimagining of Jerome Robbins, Arthur Laurents, Leonard Bernstein, and Stephen Sondheim's masterwork will officially open February 6, 2020, at a Broadway theatre to be announced.

West Side Story will feature all-new choreography (a first for major New York productions), with sets and lighting design by Jan Versweyveld.
