News Broadway Sessions Will Welcome Addams Family's Jackie Hoffman Feb. 17 Broadway Sessions with Ben D, the weekly musical theatre-themed evening at The Midtown Theater, will continue Feb. 17.

The evening will feature performances by Addams Family's Jackie Hoffman as well as rock n' roll ventriloquist Carla Rhodes and vocalist Hernando Umana. Audience members will have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to The Addams Family on Broadway.

Hoffman received a Theatre World Award for her work in Hairspray. Her other theatrical credits include Xanadu, The Sisters Rosensweig, Regrets Only, Book of Liz (Obie Award), Straightjacket, Incident at Cobbler's Knob and One Woman Shoe (Jeff Award). Hoffman has been seen on screen in "Legally Blonde II," "Kissing Jessica Stein," "Garden State," "Mo' Money" and "Freaky Friday."

She is also currently offering her solo show, Jackie Five-OH, at Joe's Pub.

Broadway Sessions is hosted by actor Ben Cameron, who has appeared on Broadway in Footloose, Aida and Wicked, and is described as "an evening of musical performances, comedy, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week." The evening features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke on piano.

Doors open at 10 PM for the weekly Thursday-night event. Show time is 11 PM, and the musical theatre open mic continues till 2 AM.
