News Broadway Stars Fill The Muny's Holiday Inn Starting Tonight The Muny production of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn plays the St. Louis venue July 6-12.

Based on the 1942 film, Holiday Inn features music and lyrics by Irving Berlin with a book by Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge. Greenberg directs the Muny production with choreography by Denis Jones. Musical direction is by James Moore, and vocal and dance arrangements are by Sam Davis with additional arrangements by Bruce Pomahac and orchestrations by Larry Blank.

The cast is headed by Patti Murin (Linda Mason), Colin Donnell (Jim Hardy), Noah Racey (Ted Hanover), Nancy Opel (Louise), Danny Rutigliano (Danny), Holly Ann Butler (Lila Dixon) and Phoenix Lawson (Charlie).

The ensemble includes Alissa Alter, Matthew Borchers, Stephen Brower, Abby Church, Darien Crago, Caley Crawford, Jeremiah Ginn, Juliane Godfrey, Laura Harrison, Bryan Thomas Hunt, Darrell T. Joe, Sean Jones, Charles Ogilvie MacEachern, Isabelle McCalla, Connor McRory, Drew Nellessen, Amy Van Norstrand, Kelly Sheehan and John T. Wolfe.

The production also has scenic design by Tim Mackabee, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Rob Denton, sound design by John Shivers and Hugh Sweeney, video design by Nathan Scheuer and wig design by Leah Loukas. The production stage manager is Monica Dickhens.

The musical, according to press notes, tells "the story of a Connecticut farmhouse transformed into a jubilant nightspot and hotel that is only open on holidays." Holiday Inn features such Irving Berlin classics as “Happy Holidays,” “Easter Parade,” “White Christmas,” “Be Careful, It’s My Heart” and more.
