News Broadway Stars Rock for Charity July 10 A host of Broadway favorites will take part in the 14th annual Rockers on Broadway concert, which will be offered July 10 at The Cutting Room to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Presented by Donnie Kehr, Peter Gregus and Good to Go Entertainment, the 8 PM concert is scheduled to feature the talents of John Lloyd Young, Christian Hoff, Michael Cerveris, Patrick Wilson, Daniel Reichard, J. Robert Spencer, Donnie Kehr, Eden Espinosa, Greg Reuter, Kathy Brier, Des McAnuff, Tituss Burgess and Micky Dolenz. Manfred Mann's Chris Thompson will be a special guest, and the evening will also feature a reunion performance from members of the original Broadway cast of The Who's Tommy." In a recent statement creator Donnie Kehr said, "It is our mission to bring together the worlds of rock 'n' roll and Broadway in a unique and inspiring way, while supporting an important cause, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS."

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation’s largest industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. Since its founding in 1988 the organization has distributed over $100 million for services for people with AIDS, HIV or HIV-related illnesses. Among the organization's annual fundraisers are "Broadway Bears," "Broadway Bares," "The Easter Bonnet Competition," "The Gypsy of the Year Competition" and "The Broadway Flea Market."
