The newly formed Broadway Television Network (BTN) will be moving to a permanent office in the vicinity of West 44th Street and Eighth Avenue within the next week to ten days, according to a BTN spokesperson.
Certain staff announcements from BTN are also expected when the company's new location is made public.
BTN also indicates that progress is being made toward the announcement of its first broadcast. Thus far, BTN has taped the closing performances of two shows -- Smokey Joe's Cafe and Putting It Together. The network has indicated that it will lock in a deal to broadcast one of these shows before any other shows are taped.
BTN was launched Jan. 18 and describes itself as a pay-per-view service that will film and broadcast traditional closing night performances.
