News Broadway Theatres Dim Marquee Lights in Honor of Musical Actor John Raitt, Feb. 22 Broadway theatres will dim their lights Feb. 22 in honor of the passing of stage and screen actor John Raitt.

As is tradition, the lights on all Broadway marquees will dim for one minute at 8 PM. Raitt, original star of Carousel, passed away Feb. 20. Raitt left his mark on the role of Billy Bigelow in Carousel and also starred in The Pajama Game as well as stagings of Annie Get Your Gun, Destry Rides Again,' Man of La Mancha, Kismet and Zorba.
