News Broadway's Bart Hosts International Emmys Nov. 19; Cumming, Bogosian and Wendt Present Roger Bart — currently starring in Broadway's newest musical, Young Frankenstein — hosts the 35th annual International Emmy Awards Nov. 19.

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences event will take place at the Hilton New York Hotel. With 38 nominees in nine categories, the nominees span 16 countries.

Joining host Bart will be celebrity presenters Sam Waterston, Lorraine Bracco, Elmo, Alan Cumming, Gloria Reuben, Rob Morrow, Eric Bogosian, Katrina Bowden, Ashley Jones, Drew Tyler Bell and George Wendt.

The International Emmy Awards recognize "excellence in television programming produced outside of the United States," according to a release.

Bart takes on the role of Dr. Frederick Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein. The actor who is known for his work on "Desperate Housewives" can also be seen in the film "American Gangster." Other stage credits for the star include The Frogs, The Producers, Triumph of Love, Big River, Fully Committed and his Tony Award-winning turn in the 1999 musical revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
