Dowling steps into the role of Roxie Hart through June 28, and Farrell portrays put-upon husband Amos Hart through Aug. 9.

The duo join a cast that currently includes Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Chandra Wilson as Matron "Mama" Morton, Tom Hewitt as Billy Flynn and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

Bryn Dowling has been seen on Broadway in Chicago, The Producers and Fosse and Off-Broadway in The Frogs. Her screen credits include "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "The Late Show With David Letterman," "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and "The Producers: The Movie Musical."

Tom Riis Farrell has been seen on Broadway in Coram Boy, Dirty Blonde, Wrong Mountain and 1776.

Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse. Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 219 West 49th Street.

The long-running musical celebrated its 12th anniversary and its 5,000th performance on Broadway Nov. 14, 2008.

A host of stage and screen stars will join the cast of the Tony Award-winning revival of John Kander and Fred Ebb's Chicago this summer at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre.

The role of merry murderess Roxie Hart will be portrayed by Bonnie Langford (June 29-July 5) and Samantha Harris (July 7-Aug. 16).

Tom Hewitt is playing the role of slick lawyer Billy Flynn through July 5. On July 7 frequent Chicago star Brent Barrett, who played a lengthy stint in the Las Vegas Phantom, will return to the role. Barrett is scheduled to stay with the award-winning revival through Aug. 9.

The women who will spend the summer playing Matron "Mama" Morton are Chandra Wilson (through July 5) and Roz Ryan (July 7-Aug. 30).
