Lincoln Center Theater, in association with Jujamcyn Theaters, has announced an online ticket lottery for its new production of the Tony-winning William Finn-James Lapine musical Falsettos, which returns to Broadway September 29 at 8 PM at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48 Street). Opening night is October 27.

A limited number of tickets, priced $40, including some in the front row of the orchestra section, will be sold each day— beginning with the first preview—to the winners of the lottery. Entries are now being accepted online and allow entry up to one week prior to the desired performance.

Winners will be chosen at random and will be notified by email and text message by noon ET on the day prior to the performance. There is a limit of one entry per person and two tickets per winner.

Falsettos, according to press notes, is “the story of the charming, neurotic Marvin, who struggles to find an unconventional and loving extended family after leaving his wife and son for his lover Whizzer.” The cast features Stephanie J. Block (as Trina), Christian Borle (as Marvin), Andrew Rannells (as Whizzer), Anthony Rosenthal (as Jason), Tracie Thoms (as Dr. Charlotte), Brandon Uranowitz (as Mendel) and Betsy Wolfe (as Cordelia).

Regularly priced tickets, ranging from $79-$149, are available at the Walter Kerr Theatre box office, by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 982-2787, online at ticketmaster.com or by visiting www.lct.org.
