News Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof Welcomes Judy Kuhn Tonight The four-time Tony nominee steps into the role of Golde.

Four-time Tony Award nominee Judy Kuhn, most recently seen in the Tony-winning musical Fun Home, joins the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof beginning November 22 in the role of Golde.

Kuhn will play the part through the show’s final performance on December 31 at 2 PM; she succeeds Jessica Hecht, who departed the production to prepare for the upcoming Broadway revival of The Price.

Danny Burstein continues in the central role of Tevye.

Kuhn was Tony-nominated for her performances in Fun Home, She Loves Me, Chess, and Les Miserables. The celebrated singing actor will also be part of Playbill Travel's Broadway on the High Seas 8 cruise in the Caribbean in February 2017; click here for more information.

Directed by Bartlett Sher, the Fiddler cast also includes Jenny Rose Baker, Michael C. Bernardi, Adam Dannheisser, Mitch Greenberg, Adam Grupper, Adam Kantor, Karl Kenzler, Alix Korey, Samantha Massell, Melanie Moore, George Psomas, Ben Rappaport, Nick Rehberger, Nerghiz Sarki, Jeffrey Schecter, and Alexandra Silber. The ensemble features Jill Abramovitz, Julie Benko, Stephen Carrasco, Eric Chambliss, Ben Cherry, Austin Goodwin, Jacob Guzman, Jesse Kovarsky, Brandt Martinez, Stephanie Lynne Mason, Zach McNally, Matt Moisey, Robbie Nicholson, Sarah Parker, Marla Phelan, Tess Primack, Dee Roscioli, Silvia Vrskova, Jonathan Royse Windham, Andrew Wojtal, Aaron Young, and Jennifer Zetlan.

This production of Fiddler was nominated for three 2016 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival, Best Choreography (Hofesh Shechter), and Best Actor in a Musical (Danny Burstein). Fiddler also took home Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Director of a Musical (Bartlett Sher) and Outstanding Actor in a Musical (Danny Burstein). Burstein was also awarded the Outer Critics Circle Award for the Outstanding Actor in a Musical.
