The added performances of the acclaimed production by the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright necessitate a change of dates for MTC's next production at the Friedman.

Good People, starring Frances McDormand and Tate Donovan, had previously been on sale through May 8.

The new MTC Broadway production of Terrence McNally's Tony Award-winning Master Class, directed by Stephen Wadsworth, featuring Olivier Award nominee Sierra Boggess and Tony and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly, will now begin previews June 14 with opening night set for July 7. The production is part of the 2011-12 Broadway season.

Tickets to the limited engagement of Master Class are now on sale through Aug. 14.

Good People opened on March 3 to positive reviews from critics and enthusiastic houses. Here's how MTC bills Good People: "Welcome to Southie, a Boston neighborhood where a night on the town means a few rounds of bingo… where this month's paycheck covers last month's bills… and where Margie Walsh (McDormand) has just been let go from yet another job. Facing eviction and scrambling to catch a break, Margie thinks an old fling (Donovan) who has made it out of Southie might be her ticket to a fresh new start. But is this apparently self-made man secure enough to face his humble beginnings? Margie is about to risk what little she has left to find out."

Terrence McNally's Tony Award-winning play about Maria Callas, according to MTC, "takes us to one of her famous master classes where, late in her own career, she challenges the next generation to make the same sacrifices and dare to rise to the same heights she did, making her the most celebrated, the most reviled and the most controversial singer of her times."
