Co-star Tony Danza, who spent a year teaching at a Philadelphia-area public school, and cast members from Honeymoon in Vegas will participate in special talkbacks to educators attending the following performances: Tuesday, Dec. 16; Wednesday evening, Dec. 17; Friday, Dec. 19; Monday, Dec. 22; and Tuesday, Dec. 23.
In a statement Danza said, “Teachers are some of the hardest working people I know and I couldn’t be prouder that Honeymoon in Vegas is thanking those people that give so much of themselves for the future of this country during this holiday season. So I hope teachers, librarians, counselors, administrators, and anyone that devotes themselves to educating our kids will come to the Nederlander and have a great time with me and the amazing cast of this show.”
The cast of the new musical is led by Tony nominee Rob McClure, Brynn O'Malley and Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Danza with David Josefsberg, Tony Award nominee Nancy Opel and Matthew Saldivar.
