Gallagher portrays patriarch Sandy Cohen on the drama set in the titular California beach locale which airs Thursdays at 8 PM (ET). Check your local listings.

In the episode titled "The Power of Love," Cohen (Gallagher) sings the Solomon Burke song as a dedication to his wife Kirsten (played by actress Kelly Rowan) for their 20th anniversary. Sometime stage actor Tate Donovan (Lobby Hero, Picnic) is also a regular on the drama.

The Gallagher rendition of "Don't Give Up on Me" is available to Apple iTunes listeners through their players or in a video clip on the Fox "O.C." website at www.fox.com/oc.
