News Broadway's Rock of Ages Will Welcome Kate Rockwell and Teresa Stanley The Tony-nominated hit musical Rock of Ages will welcome Kate Rockwell (Bring It On: The Musical, Legally Blonde) to the role of Sherrie beginning Jan. 21, 2013, at the Helen Hayes Theatre.

That same day, Teresa Stanley (The Color Purple, national tour of Rock of Ages) will take over the role of Justice, owner of the Sunset Strip’s Venus Club.

Current cast members Ashley Spencer (Sherrie) and Michele Mais (Justice) will play their final performances Jan. 20.

Kate Rockwell, currently starring on Broadway as Skylar in Bring It On: The Musical, was a finalist on NBC’s "Grease: You’re The One That I Want" before making her Broadway debut in Legally Blonde, followed by the 2009 Broadway revival of Hair. Teresa Stanley made her Broadway debut in the ensemble of A Color Purple, performed in the 30th anniversary tour of Ain't Misbehavin’ and played the role of Justice in the first national tour of Rock of Ages.

The musical comedy Rock of Ages borrows rock hits of the 1980s to tell the story of showbiz lovers in L.A. The score includes "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.

Rock of Ages is written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine.

Rock of Ages is produced on Broadway and world-wide by Matthew Weaver, Carl Levin, Jeff Davis, Barry Habib, Scott Prisand, Michael Cohl, Reagan Silber, and Relativity Media.
