Broadway alums Wesley Taylor and Isaac Powell are engaged. The two revealed the news on their individual Instagrams.
Taylor was most recently seen on the New York stage in the Off-Broadway premiere of Alice By Heart as the Mad Hatter, for which he won the Chita Rivera Award for Outstanding Male Dancer. He was last seen on Broadway originating the role of Plankton in SpongeBob SquarePants. Powell played Daniel in the recent Once On This Island revival, marking his Broadway debut.
The two met at North Carolina School of the Arts; Powell was a junior studying there and Taylor had returned to his alma mater for a visit. The two officially began dating when they both settled in New York City for rehearsals for their latest respective Broadway bows.
