The Broadway production of the international hit Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman musical Wicked adds a digital lottery beginning March 8 that is scheduled to continue through the spring.

A limited number of tickets are available through the digital lottery, which opens at 8:30 AM for matinee and evening performances and remains open until 10:30 AM and 2 PM, respectively, when winners are drawn. Tickets are $35 each, including the facility fee. Winners will be notified by email shortly after each drawing and will have 60 minutes to pay for their tickets with a credit card online.

Tickets can be picked up at the Gershwin Theatre box office (222 West 51st Street) 30 minutes prior to show time. Photo ID is required for pickup, and seat locations awarded are subject to availability. For details and entrance to the digital lottery, click here.

Wicked’s in-person lottery remains and takes place two hours before each performance. All former rules apply, with tickets for $30 each including the facility fee.

The musical currently stars Rachel Tucker as Elphaba, Carrie St. Louis as Glinda, Judy Kaye as Madame Morrible, Peter Scolari as The Wizard, Jonah Platt as Fiyero, Dawn E. Cantwell as Nessarose, Michael Genet as Dr. Dillamond and Zachary Noah Piser as Boq.
