The limited run will conclude April 24.

Shields (Leap of Faith, Wonderful Town, Cabaret, "Suddenly Susan," "Lipstick Jungle") is joined by Constance Zimmer, Andrea Bendewald, Nicole Paggi and Eileen Galindo.

Kumble, who frequently sends up the insider world of Hollywood in his plays, now "sets his sights on Brentwood’s status climbing mommies," according to press notes. "These 'd girls' from the nineties now find themselves caught up in a world filled of their own power plays – including nanny poaching, elitist book clubs, and worst of all…pre-school applications."

The creative team for Girls Talk includes set designer Tom Buderwitz, costume designer Ann Closs-Farley, lighting designer Christie Wright and sound designer Doug Newell. Kumble is producing with David Elzer and Molly O'Keefe.

Kumble's previous plays include Pay or Play, d girls and Turnaround. He wrote and directed the film "Cruel Intentions," and directed "The Sweetest Thing," "Just Friends," "College Road Trip" and "Furry Vengeance."

The Lee Strasburg Theatre is located at 7936 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. For tickets, call (800) 595-4849 or visit www.tix.com.
