News Brown, Lavin and Klein Part of All-Star Sisters Rosensweig Benefit Tony Award winners Blair Brown and Linda Lavin will join original cast member Robert Klein for an all-star 10th anniversary benefit reading of The Sisters Rosensweig Jan. 26.

The one-night-only event will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and will also feature the talents of Amy Irving, Michelle Williams and John Michael Higgins. Daniel Sullivan, who directed the original production of Wendy Wasserstein’s play, will helm the reading at the Virginia Theatre. Wendy Wasserstein's play about three American Jewish sisters who undergo an identity crisis when they gather in London after their mother dies played Broadway’s Ethel Barrymore Theatre March 1993-July 1994. The original Broadway cast featured Jane Alexander, Madeline Kahn, Robert Klein, Christine Estabrook, John Vickery, John Cunningham, Julie Dretzin and Patrick Fitzgerald. The late Madeline Kahn won a Tony Award for her performance as Gorgeous Teitelbaum.

Tickets to the benefit, priced at $500, include a pre-show dinner at Noche on Broadway and 49th Street. The Virginia Theatre is located at 245 West 52nd Street. For tickets to The Sisters Rosensweig call Anne MacGillivray at (646) 497-2606.
