The new work by the author of The Outgoing Tide, an earlier hit for Northlight, is billed this way: "On a quiet night at Lou's bar, two kindred spirits seek solace as they navigate changing times and relationships past. [It's] an intimate exploration of friendship, forgiveness, and the longing for companionship that grows with the passage of time."
Jones said in a statement, "Bruce's work cuts very close to the marrow of human experience with humor and heartache. Stella & Lou…[is] a refreshingly hopeful piece about companionship."
Performances under the direction of Jones will play May 30-June 9, 2013. Opening night is May 10, 2013.
