Classic Arts News Bryn Terfel's Simple Gifts Jumps Up Billboard Chart Bryn Terfel's Simple Gifts jumped from number 15 to number three on the Billboard classical chart this week, its third week on the chart.
The bass-baritone sings songs ranging from Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus to Sondheim's "Send in the Clowns" on the album, accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra.

Violinist Andr_ Rieu's The Flying Dutchman remained at number one for the second straight week, and Ren_e Fleming's Sacred Songs remained at number two.

Other movers included Yo-Yo Ma's Vivaldi's Cello, which jumped from number 18 to number 11 in its 89th week on the chart.

The top three spots on the classical-crossover chart were unchanged, with Il Divo's Christmas Collection at number one, the group's Il Divo at number two, and the soundtrack to Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith at number three.
