Classic Arts News Bubl_ and Botti Continue Hold Over Billboard Jazz Chart Albums by Michael Bubl_ and Chris Botti continued to dance around the top two spots on the Billboard jazz-album charts. The albums once again reversed positions this week, with Bubl_'s It's Time at number one, and Botti's When I Fall in Love at number two.
Madeleine Peyroux's Careless Love stayed at number three, and Verve Unmixed 3, a compilation of remixed classic-jazz performances in its second week on the chart, moved down from number four to number five, making room for Diana Krall's The Girl in the Other Room.

There was only one new entry in the top 25, vocalist Keely Smith's Vegas '58—Today at number 18. Two recordings of classic performers re-entered the charts: Louis Armstrong's Louis Armstrong, at number 22, and Bille Holiday's Jazz Biography Series at number 24.

Verve Unmixed 3 stayed at the top of the contemporary-jazz chart, and Marcus Miller's Silver Rain, which entered the chart last week at number 21 and jumped this week to number 2. Kenny G's At Last . . . The Duets Album slid to number three, followed by a new entry, bassist Victor Wooten's Soul Circus, at number four.
