News   Buchanan, Chamberlain, Doyle and Hanes Are Moving Forward, Looking Back March 26 Moving Forward, Looking Back is the title of the March 26 musical revue celebrating the songs of Michael Mahler.

Conceived by Mahler and Jessica Redish, the revue is being presented at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, which is located within the West Bank Café. Show time is 7 PM. Redish directs and choreographs a cast that includes Michael Buchanan (Jeff Award winner, Urinetown), Andrea Chamberlain (The Drowsy Chaperone), Caitlin Doyle (San Francisco's Last Five Years), Tyler Hanes (A Chorus Line) and Tommar Wilson (Lestat).

Moving Forward, Looking Back, according to press notes, concerns "five twentysomethings working it out in the big city — dealing with dreams, day jobs, failed romances and attempts at new ones." Composer Mahler also penned How Can You Run With a Shell on Your Back?, which is currently playing the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre.
