News Bud Martin Is New Executive Director of Delaware Theatre Co.; Season Includes Outgoing Tide, Boeing-Boeing Delaware Theatre Company named Bud Martin executive director of the company. Martin, formerly of Act II Playhouse in Pennsylvania, officially joined the Wilmington organization May 1. The theatre's 34th season has been announced.

Bud Martin

Martin recently completed his fourth season as producing artistic director of Act II Playhouse, where he directed Married Alive, Magnetic North, On Golden Pond, Respect: A Musical Journey of Women, The Story of My Life (Barrymore Award), Art (Barrymore nomination), the recent co-production with DTC, Time Stands Still, and My Fair Lady. He also directed the national tour of Respect as well as Bruce Graham's Any Given Monday Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters. His Broadway producing credits include The Story of My Life, 9 to 5, Burn the Floor, La Bête and Time Stands Still.

Delaware Theatre Company's 2012-13 season will include Bruce Graham's The Outgoing Tide (Oct. 10-28); A Christmas Carol by Patrick Barlow (Dec. 5-23); Marc Camoletti's Boeing-Boeing (Jan. 23-Feb. 10, 2013); and My Fair Lady, featuring a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner with music by Frederick Loewe, (April 17-May 5, 2013).
