Pat McRoberts stars as the bespectacled rocker, who delivered such hits as "Peggy Sue," "That'll Be The Day," "Oh Boy," "Rave On," and "Maybe Baby." McRoberts previously portrayed Holly in the national tour of the musical; he also appeared in the Broadway production of Miss Saigon.

Victoria Bussert directs and choreographs the musical revue that re-creates two of the rocker's most famous concerts, including the Crickets' appearance as the first white act ever to appear at the Apollo Theatre and his final gig at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, where Holly was joined by Ritchie Valens and the "Big Bopper," J.P. Richardson.

The cast for Buddy also includes Eric Scott Anthony and John Rochette as The Crickets, Migel Romero as Ritchie Valens, Ryan Dunkin as The Big Bopper, Becca Lopez as Maria Elena and John Schiappa as Norm Petty.

The Buddy Ensemble comprises Derrick Cobey, Tamara Corbin, Katharine Greiner, Angela Grovey, Angela Howell, Matt Lillo, Chris McBurney, Alcorn Minor and Eli Zoller.

The creative team includes Angela Howell (musical director), Peter Barbieri (technical director), Andrew Gmoser (lighting design), Steven Loftus (set design), Bryan McPartlan (sound design), Matthew Hemesath (costume design) and Gerard Kelly (wig design).
