Buddy, the musical tribute to Buddy Holly which has had an international success since opening at the Victoria Palace Theatre in 1989, is to close on March 3, 2002.
The show, which has been in residence at the Strand Theatre since 1995, has proved that the music of Buddy Holly and his contemporaries still appeals to a modern audience. A Broadway production at the Shubert Theatre, however, was not a success, closing in under a year. For tickets and further information call the Strand Theatre on 020 7930 8800.
