News Busch and Halston to Perform Vampire Lesbians for Actors' Fund March 28 Charles Busch, Julie Halston and a host of Broadway stars will gather at the Music Box Theatre on March 28 for a one-night-only performance of Busch's Vampire Lesbians of Sodom. The event will benefit The Actors' Fund of America.

The night will be divided in two. The first half will feature a variety of songs and sketches. Joining Busch and Halston—longtime collaborators—will be Brent Barrett and Rebecca Luker, and a 10-member dancing chorus. The evening is choreographed by Christopher Gattelli with special music by Seth Rudetsky. Part two will be Busch and Halston performing Sodom, along with original cast members Andy Halliday and Theresa Aceves. Ruth Williamson will be playing Oatsie Carewe, the snooping gossip columnist. Phyllis Newman, Mario Cantone and Bruce Vilanch and more will make guest appearances throughout the performance.

Carl Andress will direct, with musical direction by Jesse Vargas.

Charles Busch’s camp classic Vampire Lesbians of Sodom opened in June 1985 and ran for five years, making it one of the longest running plays in Off-Broadway history.
