Joshua Rosenblum's revue, according to production notes, "aims venomous, highly partisan musical barbs at the President and his dissembling gang of conspirators, resulting in a take-no-prisoners show." Directed and choreographed by Gary Slavin, the official opening night for Bush Is Bad is set for Sept. 29. The Bush creative team also includes Anne Auberjonois (costume design), Tonya Pierre (lighting and sound design) and Colin Stokes (set design).

Described as a cross between Forbidden Broadway and "The Daily Show," Bush Is Bad is "a left-eyed look at the current sorry state of affairs in American government. It's the truth told bluntly but not savagely, with wit and without malice." Song titles include "How Can 59 Million People Be So Dumb?," "Good Conservative Values," "The Gay Agenda," "John Bolton Has Feelings, Too" and "New Hope for the Fabulously Wealthy."

Kate Baldwin has appeared on Broadway in Wonderful Town, The Full Monty and Thoroughly Modern Millie as well as the City Center Encores! productions of Babes in Arms, A Connecticut Yankee and Bloomer Girl. Neal Mayer was seen in the final Broadway company of Les Misérables as well as the Off-Broadway productions of Forbidden Broadway Strikes Back, That's Life! and The Wizard of Oz in Concert. Michael McCoy has acted in the Broadway company of The Phantom of the Opera as well as in the national tours of Phantom and Cats.

The Triad Theatre is located in Manhattan at 158 West 72nd Street. Performances are Thursdays at 9 PM; tickets are priced $20 with a $12 minimum. Call (212) 362-2511 for reservations or visit www.triadnyc.com.
