The production, which debuted at the Off-Broadway venue in September 2005, went on hiatus in August 2006 and returned this past September with the current "Impeachment Edition."

About the show's closing, Bush Is Bad composer/creator Joshua Rosenblum said in a recent statement, "We succeeded in our mission to propel the Democrats to victory this year. Now that we’re entering a new era of government, we need to kick back and wait a bit to see what happens. Bush Is: Lame Duck Edition would be one obvious next step, but if the Democrats in Congress blow it, we might need Pelosi Is Pathetic or Reid Is Ridiculous.

Directed and choreographed by Gary Slavin, the cast features Lori Hammel, Neal Mayer and Tom Treadwell with David Wolfson at the piano.

Bush Is Bad was penned by Rosenblum, who also served as the show's musical director. The creative team also included Anne Auberjonois (costume design) and Tonya Pierre (lighting and sound design).

The revue, according to production notes, "offers catchy tunes, wickedly funny lyrics and scathing impersonations of the President and his dissembling gang of conspirators." New song titles include "Wake Me When It's 2009," "The Man From Diebold," "Heck of a Job" and "You Can Never Have Enough Bush." The Triad Theatre is located in Manhattan at 158 West 72nd Street.
