Actor-director Mike Nussbaum has his hands full of late in the Windy City. At nights, he is playing the title character in Visiting Mr. Green at the Royal George. And during the day, he's been directing the American Theatre Company's new revival of David Mamet's American Buffalo. The latter play will begin performances Nov. 29 and run through Dec. 26.

Nussbaum knows a little about Buffalo, having originated the role of Teach in the play's original Chicago staging. The American Theatre mounting features John Sterchi in that role, with Andrew Micheli and John Morhlein rounding out the cast.

Mr. Green reopened at the Royal George on Nov. 19, having ended a successful run at the Northlight Theatre earlier this fall.
