"In 1987 on the Sunset Strip," Rock of Ages Broadway production notes state, "a small town girl met a big city rocker and in L.A.'s most famous rock club, they fell in love to the greatest songs of the '80s. . . . [The musical is] an arena-rock love story told through the mind-blowing, face-melting hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and many more."

Featuring a score compiled of hits from the 1980s, including "Don't Stop Believin'," "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," "Every Rose Has It's Thorn," "Oh, Sherrie" and "We Built This City," Rock of Ages originally premiered Off-Broadway at New World Stages in October of 2008. The musical transferred to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Broadway in March of 2009, earning five Tony nominations including Best Musical, Best Direction, and Best Actor for Maroulis.

A film, national tour and Toronto production of the Tony-nominated musical are currently in the works.
